Skate Film 2013
My brothers and I at Double-Headed Monster will be shooting a skate film this Spring and Summer. It will involve the skate culture featured in the Hudson Valley (as north as Kingston to south as Long Island). This isn't just your average skate video but much more with clips from concerts, unconventional techniques, insane cinematography, interviews, etc
Bass Head
Went to see Bassnectar on 4/21 in Rochester N.Y. this weekend. He just released his new album VAVA VOOM this month and I never listened to it before the show making the experience sick as hell. Spun out college kids made up most of the populace but I met some really cool as people as well. I was skeptical at first as I felt his new album was going to sound more mainstream and similar to his other LPs. I was wrong. Still dropping killer basslines with his signature rap beat rap like beats. Point is check out his new album VAVA VOOM and throw on the blacklight. At one point his starting to mention how the next track was a sing-along tune which gave me a bitter taste as I felt some new garbabe auto-tune radio jam was about to be dropped. To my suprise a Pennywise song began to play, made my fucking night. Thanks again to my bro and his girlfriend for letting me and my friends to spend the night.
